Trendy Patriotism ..... Pakistaniat !!!

Today is the independence day of Pakistan ... yes today !!! Yes! I've been to Kindergarten in Pakistan ... nd NO i m nt on Sheesha ( i hate Sheesha) !!! Today is the independence day of Pakistan cz today is 27th Ramadan, and accord'n to Islamic Calendar, Pakistan got independence on 27th Ramadan, 1366 ... Bt alas, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the very same public who is demand'n for Islamic Sharia'h complianc'd laws implementation in Pakistan is unaware of tht .... The Islamic Republic of Pakistan nd its pathetic government is unable to share the very simple fact nd the public never ever thought of digg'n it out ...

We are not an Islamic nation .... We are a 'Trendy' nation ... We always follow the trend ... for more than two years, a trend has been observ'd nam'n 'Pakistaniat'! The trend is like hav'n some basic characteristics which i want to share in the follow'n:
1. one shows its eternal love for Pakistan but still dreams about leav'n to some European or Western Country
"I Love Pakistan ....aaannndddd i've also applied for Visa in USA/ Germany etc as the standard of life is much higher" !!!
2. One boasts about the beauty of Pakistan on social media but plans (nd wishes to afford) its family vacation for a Euro Trip.
3. One goes 'Pakistan Zindabad' on every Patriotic Picture nd goes for 'Like' Button so mch regularly that it lost the count nd forgot the it ever did
4. One changes its 'Dp' (Display Picture) of the profile to some Green Flag or Green wid Crescent nd Star of some badge nd removes the Pakistani Dpon 15August ... or a week after tht ...
5. One goes for 'Yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo' on Mall Road lahore wid a customiz'd bike with Flags on the bike nd wrapp'd around head nd pull'n out some stunts like one wheel'n

Yayy! Only a True Pakistani can do one Wheel'n !!!

For the car owners, they love to pump up the woofers wid Indian Songs on a national day !!!

6. One decorates its house, street, Mohalla, car, bike with Flags nd mini flags but forgets the fact of respect of Pakistani Flag that the shadows of even'n must not be put upon Pakistani Flags but Who cares ... More Flags means More Pakistani

7. After the independence day, the Flags jst get remain mount'd on the Roof nd it remains there, in storm or a sunny day!!!

8. "We love to Join Imran Khan .... He is the only hope for Pakistan .. " a common word on every guy who loves to c some chicks who he can interact without gett'n beaten up! Personally i like imran khan but ... c'mon guys .. if u want to support him thn support him by giv'n him ideas nd collaborat'n ur efforts with him

9. One joins a Patriotic page cz his/her crush has jst join'd that page on fb 

10."I hate all the politicians ...they are good for noth'n " ... My dear friend, "What have u done for Pakistan?" .... "Ummmm !!! Yr mujhay koi karnay hi nhn deta (no one lets me to do anythng)!!! :D" A typical response :p 

11. One loves the Pakistani culture nd people nd on the next traffic jam its like ...' Damn Pakistanis .... u never gonna get develop'd ... Curse You ...' .... 

12. One always whines about system inadequacy but never present'd or work'd upon an idea which can change the things in a better manner.

13. One always say 'Sharia'h Zindabad' but cnt differentiate between Capitalist, Socialist, Communist nd Sharia'h Society (lolxxxx )

14. One thinks that the Pakistan Army is the best in the world but also complains the Pakistan Arm'd Forces had consum'd 80% of the budget 

15. One never ever thinks about Kashmir or Balochistan, but loves to brag about how Punjab or Sindh r superior frm each other ...

If any of the follow'n characteristics has been cit'd in you, then you r in the Trendy Patriotism ....

This trendy patriotism has been observ'd by me for more than three years .... I must say that Chang'n Dps, Join'n Causes... Fan Pages ... Events .... Groups, Post'n Likes on any Pakistani Picture, curs'n the politicians nd the System alongwith society will not do anythng ....

You must show the world that you love Pakistan so you should carry out these things but plz .... Dnt do ALL the things on  Facebook, Twitter .... Do something REALLY ... in reality !!!

If you really are patriotic, Identify the problems, come up with solutions (dnt jst whine about 'em like a crybaby) 

If you really feel Pakistani, then develop some infrastructure for Pakistan. If you want to bring change, first change your own attitude ...

Its hilarious that we cnt even remember the Islamic Calendar  date of independence of Pakistan and think that we can bring Sharia'h Laws nd change nd prosperity nd revolution .... lolxxx !!!! Grow Up Kids !!!

Upgrade | Mobilink & HTC Sensation | Its' about time !

Its about time that a new revolutionary phone enter into Pakistani market. A couple of weeks back; I got invitation from Mobilink to attend the Mobilink Blogger's Moot of HTC Sensation. I found out by Techland that HTC launch’d its contender in the ring of Dual Core Processor Smart Phones after Samsung Galaxy SII. I heard a lot of hype for the Galaxy SII and I want’d to see how HTC actually gonna beat its contender. Luckily, one of friends of mine recently purchas’d Galaxy SII and he was there for the same reason; inversely though. The Mobilink moot was another great enjoyable experience except the part where I didn’t get HTC sensation to take home ….

Well the Mobilink and HTC guys managed to give us out two test phones and I was liv’n a geeky dream that I’ve both phones to compare. HTC Sensation is going to be the next flagship of HTC in the Smart Phone’s market after HTC Desire S & HTC Desire HD! Personally, I lov’d HTC Desire HD due to its screen, camera, working, android updates etc.

I really like HTC Sensation due to its look, feel its sense 3.0 … Sensation is being designed elegantly and blended sophisticatedly with aluminum material with matt finish to give it an exclusive touch with rounded smooth curves which made it easy to handle. Sensation increased the resolution to 540 x 960 (qHD) resolution, whereas the SII uses a more traditional 4.3" 800 x 480 (WVGA) display. Dual LED  Flash equipp’d 8MP camera with HD video record’n! The HTC Sense 3.0 is a killer, the ‘Half Ring’ unlock’n concept as being told by Mr. Naeem Tabish; Country Head HTC. The Sense 3.0 beat Galaxy SII’s TouchWiz4.0; totally.

The Geek-o-pedia of mine says that Sensation will be a good investment as First TURN ON for HTC; the first ROM update will be of HTC, keeping its market value and Geek Value high all the time however, Samsung is a bit slow in such matters. Other thing important is the battery life and I am quite sure that Sensation would have beaten the battery conservation of SII as the SII user was saying that the SII battery drain’d out quite fast! The internet browsing was quite better than Galaxy SII.

A 15 min Sensation experience was literally a sizzling ‘sensation’. Mobilink really picked up the right match for SII in Pakistan. The Mobilink team’s efforts are quite appreciable that they’ve introduced Milestone, Galaxy Tab, HD7 etc in Pakistan. The market leader of Pakistani telecom market with a share of 32% (PTA,2009) provi’n its leadership in the smart phones market too.

My Greatest Motivation in Problems!

Positive Thoughts ... the power of positive thoughts ... in my previous posts i've mention'd that Islam teaches about positivism, optimism i.e. you never surrender to your difficulties or problems or situations.
I was go'n through a book 'Shahbash Tm kar saktay ho' (Mean'n .. Well Done ! You can do it)  by a great motivational speaker Mr. Qaiser Abbas .. in his book Mr. Qaiser Abbas gave reference of a Verse of Quran's Chapter stat'n that

So,Verily, With every difficulty, there is relief , 

Verily with difficulty, there is relief (Surah Nashra )

When i went through  Quran and found out these verses ... I found a new energy station in myself ... My point of view for problems has chang'd totally ... I must say that Islam is a complete code of life; it tells us how to manage ourselves even in problems ... no doubt over that !!!

My greatest motivation to  face problems consists of these verses from  Holy Quran ... Thanks to ALLAH for guid'n me through it :)) nd Thnx to Mr. Qaiser Abbas's Book for such motivation :)

says Adnan Jabbar; avery close friend and business think tank ; in his blog.  One day, during conversation I got an invitation from an event management company for an upcom'n event.  After fill'n the so call'd registration form of the event I didnt get any sort of 'Terms of Agreement for my Privacy Concerns' or any sort of 'Non Disclosure of Contact information' stuff ...
Ok i've some questions ..where does ma info go? Will it be sold/shar'd/or whatever to other fourth or fifth party to send me more nd more spam mails ?? How abt if i dnt want to share ma info ? How abt ma info gets updat'd/chang'd?
Quite amusingly, i got an email (a SPAM ofcourse) offer'n 3000 professional ('work'n'; seriously tht word ws mention'd in the mail :p) for some few Ks ...nd they gave a lil sample of the contact list ... nd i saw a familiar Spread sheet with most 'signature' fields of info gather'n ...
If you type in 'Pakistani' on Google, what you get on the Auto - Suggestion has 'Pakistani Girls Numbers' on 3rd number .... (yeah right) ... bt how come they get the contact details nd the so call'd directory gets fill'd day by day? (see how many Mark Suckerbags we have who will do anythng to get a chick's number) 
This is also a wake up call to all the event management companies, they must have tht 'Non Disclosure of Information of participants' stuff ... ready nd implement'd ...cz i m gett'n more nd more spam messages day by day ..The worst case is with the females, as the 'desperados' tend to be Mark Suckerbag of their own and get the info nd send SMS to anyone hav'n the Gender 'Female'  result'n some female colleagues have to change their numbers due to obnoxious calls nd SMS !
With reference to discussion with Adnan Jabbar, We are try'n to formulate a legal action against such issues in Pakistan. Lets hope for the best ! 

Prayers Can Heal !!!

Yes .. its now scienfitically prov'n tht Prayers can heal ... Accord'n to the article publish'd in How Stuff Works ... Some Scientists state that Prayers are the alternate medicines (http://health.howstuffworks.com/wellness/natural-medicine/alternative/prayer-healing.htm)

Today, while discuss'n the Noetic Sciences with my mentor Sir Kamran Rizvi, we found out that the positive thoughts have real impact .... as reference to ma first blogpost of this blog, i've mention'd tht ur brain is the most heal'n unit ever creat'd ... Its helps in heal'n ... nd faith or belief or whatever you wanna say, helps up!
I've seen people pray'n like anythng ... i've listen'd to numerous testimonials of people that how did their problems come to an end .... even i came across some Wazifah (a chanting of special Verse from Quran or Islamic Teachings with or without tasbeeh/counter) .... nd personally, i feel quite convinc'd ... infact, I m a strong believer on Prayers!
Concern'n ma personal experiences, I've experienc'd the power of prayers ... time to time ... and everytime i saw ma desir'd wish com'n true, i found the core factor ...believe in the prayer and a strong faith that ma prayer will be hear'd!

For the positive thought's power, I want to quote a script from the book i read long before;

"Can you guarantee that you can live the very next second? human life is the most unpredictable and unstable of all .. still every night we sleep at night with loads of plans for the next day, whole week or even month ... "

The same positivism, attitude can be utilized when you pray, when you kneel down, u must expect the highest from ALLAH nd believe me you'll get the best ... Try it yourself ...

Speak'n of noetic sciences, one fully understood idea is more resilient than any virus ( Inception's favorite's quote) once plant'd in the minds of the people can bring the whole wave of change .... The plantation of ideas are being carried out by our media (in a highly negative way), but imagine .... If the guy living next door believes that he can bring a good change to the his society and he doesnt throw his garbage on the street or on ur doorstep ... imagine a group; instead of talk'n draw'n room intellectual talks, come up with solutions and really 'implement' them up ... The noetic science is not only related to metaphysics or with paranormal activity ... Its the real thing with real results ....

Keep'n it v short, i wan to say tht Don't Loose hope, lets sow the seeds of positivism from today .... Whatever you Pray for ... Pray with real belief ....!

The Ring Master of the Circus!

Last Week, Governer Punjab Salman Taseer got shot dead by his own guard. Whose is the lucky fellow to get the most benefits? PPP (for claiming another 'Life' for their party) ? The upcoming governer? The Person who shot Salman Taseer? Opposition Parties? Political Parties? or ... Media? Yes. Media. Media who got thge jackpot on the death of the Governer. The Media which is still running programs in/against favour of the Salman Taseer. The media who actually brought all this. My claim is quite simple.
72% of Pakistani Channels composed of News Channels (Ogilvy Pakistan). The ratings of the news channels are the main aim. Ratings are being measured on daily basis, on each program, each segment. That's the reason Media now hunts in pack of wolves, hungry wolves. The hunt for the most sensational, controversial, consipiracy filled news which keep the views intact and sky rocket the ratings. From a business point of view, its not bad ... like media is there to earn profits like any other business but its bad when it comes to the social responsbility.
During the showdown of Salman Taseer on the media, I was at  Subway,Lahore. The media was keeping live updates, carrying out investigations about the event from the eye-witnesses. Initially, everyone in the lounge start'd to clap that a corrupt person just got its fate. The swiftness of media can be seen all over news channels. As people started to return to their tables with a majority of opinion that Salman Taseer was a corrupt person his death is a relief for Pakistan ... the media launched its own 'Shosha'. The media gave it a zist of Religiousness and associated the death with the 'Namoos e Rasalat (PBUH) Bill'. I saw the attention of people converging on the TV Screens. Discussions pop up, opinions' mushroom growth started up and I found myself in a middle of two ideologies; Secular and Religious. There I found the power of media, the media performed excellent job of the ring master controlling the whole circus ... and the result is in front of you.
The whole western media and analysts shook with fear when they witnessed the religious assosciation of Pakistanis; despite of being educated or moderated. The media hit a gold mine and started extracting gold by conducting shows in favour/against the Murder.
I open my Facebook Friends' Links' page, and I find 5 out of 15 links related to this event. These links/posts/videos/blogs/articles etc are discussing the same, supporting their respective opinions from every aspect available. I saw the Sunday newspaper .... I saw the two faced strategy of the Media.
The main role of the media is to educate people, not to spoil it. The media doesnt not only loose its aim but also its plaguing the society with its 'hot news'. The upcoming generation will carry out a 'Massacare' with pride if the media doesnt return to its original aim.
The media proved once again to be the Ring Master of the Circus and we .... the audience. We love violence, we love consipiracies ... we love everything sizzling hot regardless its demoralzing our nation, our identity or the very thing itself for which we love to take stand...

Mobilink Samsung Google Meetup - Unveiling of P1000 Galaxy Tab

The long await'd ..Galaxy Tab P1000 finally arriv'd in Pakistani markets. Mobilink, Samsung Pakistan and Google Pakistan really made the event quite interactive and interest'n .... Moreover, the Lahoris ... they jst knw how to keep the party rock'n !

Badar Khushnood; Google Pakistan unviel'd the Tab and we all got the chance to test it ... I found the tab quite handy and its apps were good. Moreover, the touch screen is Gorilla Glass i.e. You can thump, bump, scratch the screen without any worrying. The Gorilla Glass makes sure that the Tab will be scratch-less and user; fearless. (Dnt try to sit on it )

The whole meet up was full of acquaintances and I became very glad to see Mam Jehan Ara; President P@SHA (Pakistan Software House Association) and her MacBook. The battle of Tabs didnt take place as expect'd but i really enjoy'd to see the head to head competition of benefits.

One thing that i notic'd in Galaxy Tab is that, I can't use it while driv'n, exercis'n, runn'n etc unlike ma current smartphone, cz with one hnd, either u can hold it or u touch it! Its light weight and it cn fit into my jacket's pocket (No I didnt intend to sneak it out of the hall) ... its Android Power'd ...
While Badar was announc'n the Prize for the winner of the Social Media Competition will be Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 ... a guy jst scream'd ... 'Oh my GOD !!!' and he start'd to shiver with excitement :p !!! Once a Geek, U never learn to be normal again :p !


The competition with in the event was tooo good. Like i try'd to answer all the questions ...thnx to Google but ma hand was lost in the crowd (bt i got the goodie bags :D) ...The participants were all well prepar'd for the event

It was a really nice event and I really enjoyed there. Met some frnds of mine from the FB social circle. Glad to know that people are really gett'n towards responsibility towards nation and all that!

The Special thing about the event is that we got a sneak preview of Upcom'n Samsung's Ginger Bread Phone .... (Oh MY God i m gonna die ; Says a Geek again ). Samsung also disclosed the fact that they are working on their own Open Source OS for mobile phones and tables (Copy Cats ...Meeooowww ) {Seriously, I never relied on this brand .. .like the phones are still unreliable, non durable, totally OFF the customer expectations with no edge}


I would like to add my opinion that I am not gonna go for Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000.... Why .... cz i am waiting for Black Berry's Touch Pad! I am wait'n for Verizon's new armour for the marketshare in tablets. I am seriously counting on Black Berry to unleash their product.....
